Track Marks

For our first special effects lesson of semester two, we were shown how to do track marks which can be used in television, film and theatre to show that a character is or has been injecting drugs. To achieve the track marks we had to emphasize the veins in the fore arm by using a mixture of blue and green grease paint. Once we created the veins we then used Rigid Collodion to create scabs. Overall I am happy with my first attempt and thick with a little more practice could improve on drawing the veins on to the skin . Below are a few pictures of the track marks that I did on my good friend Bex.
